Lemon Apple & A Touch of Grey
I love yellow - I didn’t always, but as I got “older”, yellow just become that color that I felt like no one else was doing, so if I wore it, I would really stand apart. Okay, maybe you’re saying “That’s not true, I love yellow too!” But let’s face it, pink will always reign supreme, and close contenders, black, blue, and shades of brown trailing shortly behind.
Though I am sure that every color scheme imaginable has been paired up many times over throughout history, one pairing that I feel is fresh and modern, and can presently be seen as an inspiration in all areas of design, is yellow and grey. There’s something about it, the way yellow really pops off against the grey, creating something very vibrant, and at the same time it seems subtle and classic.
I collected some images using lemon yellow and grey, with a twist of apple green, and was inspired by this trio of colors to design this personalized stationery set.
My aim was definitely for something refined, with a fresh pop of personality! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. - Rhiannon

I love these colors, and I love the stationery you designed! Very fresh and bubbly, yet sophisticated. Cool finds, too!
I never liked yellow either until recently. Now I love it, although my skin tone does not look good in yellow clothing. I can still wear it in jewelry, though. Congrats to Janet Lily whose Apple Juice Glass Necklace is included in this article. She is a wonderful, talented person and makes such pretty things, and she is so worthy of mention here with all of these lovely items.
